Academic background: I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Pediatrics at National Jewish Health in Denver, CO under the advisement of Dr. Pamela Zeitlin (Professor and Chair of Department of Pediatrics). I earned my Ph.D. in Physiology and Endocrinology from the Graduate Program in Organismic and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA (2020). The entirety of my dissertation research was carried out at the S. O. Conte Anadromous Fish Research Center (U. S. Geological Survey) in Turners Falls, MA under the advisement of Dr. Stephen D. McCormick (Professor, Senior Scientist, Physiology Section Leader). I earned my M.Sc. in Biological Sciences from DePaul University (2015) under the advisement of Dr. Jason S. Bystriansky (Associate Professor). I earned my B.Sc in Chemistry from The Illinois Institute of Technology (2012) under the advisement of Dr. John A. Terschak (Yorkshire Marine Research Centre, UK).
